Loopholes in immigration laws allow foreigners to bypass background checks, hide criminal activities, get fast-tracked green cards and U.S. citizenship -- all without evidence, interviews or investigations.

RESULTS: Foreign nationals are using these loopholes for quick green cards and U.S. citizenship, quickly marrying active military with high-level security clearances and living on U.S. military bases; The military erroneously assumes these foreign nationals were properly vetted by the Department of Homeland Security. (Some then seek ways to fraudulently claim spousal and family military benefits.)

CONGRESSIONAL ACTION: When congress had a chance to reign in or close the responsible loopholes in 2013, it solidified them, instead.

  • Overwhelmed with rampant fraud and limited resources, government employees ignore the vast majority of fraud cases reported.

Lopez is an immigration fraud victim turned whistleblower.  She exposed immigration loopholes posing national security risks to the White House, FBI and congress

She testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2017 about her own immigration fraud case whereby her Dutch husband used her for a green card and then tried to kill her. Although homeland security officials consider him dangerous, they've refused to deport him.

A former political journalist and financial writer, Lopez now lives in hiding with  the help of state officials.
